Tips to Apply Lip Liner and Lip Gloss

Before putting on a lip color on your lips, use a lip liner or pencil as this will help in forming the natural shape of your mouth. Lip liners also helps add to the cleaning definition of your lips as well as the redefining power of your mouth. To apply the lip liner you just have to draw line outside your natural lip line for more fullness and another line on the inside of your natural lip line to make it appear slightly thinner. But if you want to achieve a luscious pout for your lips, add a line on the bottom lip that is two shades lighter than the line of your upper lip.

For a more party look, enhance and soften your upper lip line in a heavy stroke of the lip liner. Afterwards, smudge the end of your pinkie with slight upward stroke. Finally, apply your lipstick on the edge of the original line that you have drawn. For a more freedom on your lip colors, ensure that you have the various colors of your lip liner pencils as one single color of lip liner will not cut it out especially if you want to create an illusion of fullness and heavier for your lips.

Applying lip gloss with essential oil will make your lips look wonderful as well as your feeling. The choices of warm and cool shades for your lip gloss are great for your lipstick as these will make your favorite lipstick color to have that extra layer of light loving color. Plus, you can even wear lip glosses alone if you want a more pretty and natural look. However, in achieving this look, choose the best lip gloss that matches your skin tone.

Make Thin Lips Appear Fuller

You look in the mirror and you know something just doesn’t look right. It is an unfortunate fate for a pretty girl, but you may suffer from thin lips. Although at times this may seem tragic, in reality thin lips can look fuller with a little lip liner and some practice.

Glamour lips

Step 1: Erase your existing lip lines by covering with a thin layer of foundation or concealer. This should be the same shade you use on the rest of your face.

Step 2: Draw a line using lip liner slightly above your natural top lip and along your bottom lip.

Step 3: Color in your entire lip with the lip liner, staying within the new outline you drew.

Step 4: Apply lipstick over the lip liner, working from the center of your lip out.

Step 5: Apply lip gloss to the center of your top and bottom lip.

Step 6: Admire your new full lips.

Lipstick Tips & Tricks

Tip #1: Store lipstick in the fridge. It will last weeks longer.

Tip #2: Never use a tester on your lips. It's just plain unhygienic. Instead, test lipstick on your fingertips. It's a closer fit to your lips than the back of your hand.
Tip #3: Use liner on your lips as a base. Want lipstick to last longer, than fill in your lips with the liner first. If you're using light lipstick, try a nude liner. Then slick your lipstick on top.
Tip #4: Don't skip the liner. Without the prerequisite liner, your lips will look "smudgier" according to Berg, softer & less defined.
Tip #5: Keep lipstick off your teeth with this trick. This is a trick I learned years ago from my mom. After applying lipstick, take your index finger & pop it in your mouth, then pull it out. The excess lipstick will come off on your finger rather than your teeth.

Tip #6: Lipstick can act as a blush. But never use blush as a lipstick.

Tip #7: Apply liner first. Lipstick tends to feather if you apply liner second. Also, you won't be able to see the natural line of your lips if you apply lipstick first.
Tip #8: The older you are, the 'creamier' your lips should look. Women over 50 should avoid matte or a gloss and stick with a creamy lipstick.
Tip #9: Don't throw out a bad color lipstick. Instead, use other colors to perfect your own shade. You can also color in lips with a darker liner before applying a lipstick that's too bright.
Tip #10: For 'plump' lips, apply liner just outside your natural lipline.

Tip #11: Keep lip-gloss on longer with liner. Lip-gloss is infamous for wearing off fast, but if you fill in lips first with the liner, the gloss has something to stick to.
Tip #12: Heal -- don't throw out -- a broken lipstick. If your lipstick breaks off, simply take off the broken portion with a tissue, then slowly wave a lit match under the broken piece of lipstick. When it's melted a bit, put it back on the base, swivel it down and put it in the fridge -- uncovered -- for 5 minutes.
Tip #13: Avoid orange or brown shades. They tend to make teeth appear yellow.
Tip #14: Save the last bits. Down to the last bit of you favorite lipstick? There's plenty more at the bottom of your tube. Scrape out the last bits with a cotton swap or orange stick & mix it with Vaseline or lip-gloss in a lipstick pallette.
Tip #15: Keep lipstick off glass. Discreetly lick the lip of the glass before touching your lips to it. It works!

Treatment for Wrinkles Around Lips

Lip wrinkles are the fine or deep lines that occur around the mouth and lips. As we get older this area is often one of the first to develop wrinkles. Like most wrinkles on the face, sun exposure, genetics and smoking (smokers lines) are strong contributors to the development of these wrinkles.

Unfortunately these wrinkles progressively worsen with time, often making individuals look older. No matter how accepting one may be of the natural aging process, perioral wrinkles are the least tolerated.

Natural TreatmentsThe natural ways for curing wrinkles around lips are:
Tomato: Place a slice of tomato on the skin for a minute. This is quite effective in case of wrinkles around lips
Avocados: Place a slice of Avacado on your face, especially on the dry parts. It helps in increasing oil production and makes the skin look young.
Honey: Applying honey on the affected areas will also give good results.

PROTECT YOUR LIPS
Lips have only three to five layers of skin cells compared to 15 over rest of the body. So you need to take care of your lips and protect them, much more than you do for the rest of your body. It might be a good idea, however, to avoid regular usage of lip-balms hat are petroleum-based, as these are addictive. So look for balms that are non-petroleum based.

PRONOUNCE YOUR POUT WITH EXERCISE
Here is an exercise that will give your mouth a younger, firmer and fuller look altogether! The Lips get enlarged and the lines above the upper lip smoothen.

You can do it while sitting up or lying down.

The Exercises
. Hold your lips together, without clenching your teeth.
. Put the tip of your index finger in between your upper and lower lips.
. Press lips together and visualize your finger as a stick that is being crushed.
. Gradually, pull out your finger from between the lips, while seeing the stick.
. Draw the energy point out and lengthen your imaginary stick until you feel the burn.
. Pulse your finger up and down quickly for a count of 30.

Note
Do the pout exercise twice daily to plump up thin lips.
